Does Actions add credit card surcharges?

No. Fees apply to the order identically for every payment method. Surcharging on Clover is handled at the platform level only. To offset processing costs the compliant way, use a cash discount program — see Order Discounts (+ Cash Discount).

Can Actions run rules on all my devices?

Yes — settings sync between devices, so a rule created on one register applies across the store.

What is the difference between Actions and Auto Item?

Actions is the wider engine: more rule combinations, staff reminders, device sync. Auto Item is the quick, focused tool for adding fees and items at set moments. If you only need "add this fee automatically", start with Auto Item; if you want a rulebook for the whole register, Actions is the one.
