Does Auto Item add credit card surcharges?
No. Fees apply to the order identically regardless of how the customer pays. Surcharging on Clover is handled at the platform level only. To offset processing costs the compliant way, use a cash discount program — see Order Discounts (+ Cash Discount).
Can it add an automatic gratuity for large parties?
Yes — configure a percentage service fee that triggers when the order subtotal crosses the threshold you choose.
